BCS Professional Graduate Diploma Project-in-practice Award

  • This awards scheme is to recognize and reward students who are entering the ICT industry after completing BCS qualifications. Under this recognition and rewards scheme, the post-development of professional projects of BCS Professional Graduate Diploma students will be evaluated by an eminent panel of judges. This evaluation process will benefit the candidate in multiple ways. The evaluation will be conducted in a form of presentation and demonstration by the applicant. There will be a predefined set of criteria which will be included in this document for the evaluation purpose and will be communicated to all the applicants well in advance.
    The following categories will be awarded:
    BCS PGD Project-in-Practice Gold Award
    BCS PGD Project-in-Practice Silver Award
    BCS PGD Project-in-Practice Bronze Award
    BCS PGD Project-in-Practice Merit AwardsT

1. Must hold a valid BCS membership at the point of submitting the application to the NBQSA Competition. (Active membership number should be provided with the application)
2. PGD level projects which have been successful with a Pass or higher at the BCS UK examination within one calendar year from the date of examination and have been done a pilot trial or commercially in operation are eligible to apply for this category of awards at NBQSA (This may be verified).
3. In the event of requesting further proof of documents by the NBQSA judging panel, the participant shall be obliged to provide such information even at a later stage of the competition
4. NBQSA judging advisory committee reserves all rights on selecting or not selecting a project for an award. The judges’ decision is final and non-contestable.
