“NBQSA the National ICT Awards 2020 was held for the 22nd consecutive year on the 3rd of February, 2021 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Hall with the Hon. Minister Namal Rajapaksa gracing the occasion as the Guest of Honor.

Even though the event was scheduled to be held on the 9th of October, 2020 the Executive Committee of the BCS Sri Lanka Section decided to postponed the event due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Finally, the well talented NBQSA Organizing Committee managed to conclude a grand and a successful event which was witnessed by the industry leaders, government officials, professionals and very senior academics representing the ICT Industry in Sri Lanka.

Awards were presented to over 100 commercial products and tertiary students projects which were evaluated and recognized as the best quality innovative ICT products at this prestigious national event. Various special awards were also presented to those who have contributed immensely to the betterment of the ICT industry in Sri Lanka.”
